Hello! My name is Warren, and I have been playing guitar for 15 years, teaching for 5. My instruction style is rooted in the idea of music being a personal, emotional release. Above all else I enjoy teaching concepts of music through the artists and songs that the student enjoys most, regardless of genre. I have found this accelerates the learning process by creating excitement, which is what music should really be about! I have thus far taught over 400 students to-date. Ultimately, my goal is to help develop a student's own character and voice in their playing, and allow for expression through the instrument!
Different people have different goals, so I make sure to facilitate this properly. Whether it be that you'd like to learn to play some of your favorite songs, work on technique and timing, learn how to write your own music and improvise, or have a deeper understanding of music theory, it makes no difference! I am also able to create audio tracks for you to play to/practice with at home.
Use the box to the right of the page to e-mail me, or phone/text 780-239-9104to discuss your goals and set up a lesson!
